How to: Paint Marshall from PAW Patrol

Some aspects of the painting are bold, whereas others appear to have a more diluted appearance in color. Your preference in the boldness compared to a lighter appearance is encouraged and welcomed! Step 2: Wet your paint brush and begin by using the color White in the 48 Watercolor Paint Palette to paint the white fur areas of Marshall ( No diluting is required, apply as much white as needed )
Step 3: Before switching to your next color, be sure to wash off your paint brush and dry it with a paper towel.
Step 4: Add a little bit of water to your palette to ensure clean and clear water
Step 5: Use the water that was added to the palette and apply it to Marshall’s hat leaving the badge in the center blank for another color later.

Step 6: Dab just a little bit of Cadmium Red from the 48 Watercolor Paint Palette and apply it to the wet part of the paper.
Step 7: As it begins to dry, apply more red to add some to the painting
Step 8: To receive a bold looking red color for Marshall’s jacket, you can skip the water application to the paper and dip your brush right into your water. Then proceed with applying Cadmium Red directly onto his jacket.
Step 9: Be sure to clean and wipe your brush before proceeding to the next color

Step 10: For his collar, apply the color yellow from the 48 Watercolor Paint Palette
Step 12: Be sure to also paint the badge on the center of his hat yellow.
Step 13: Be sure to clean and wipe your brush before proceeding to the next color
Step 14: Wet your paint brush, dip it into the blue pan, and apply it directly onto Marshall’s eyes
Step 15: Be sure to clean and wipe your brush before proceeding to the next color

Step 16: Going back to Cadmium Red, we will be using that color to paint the inside of his mouth
Step 17: For Marshall’s tongue, apply water directly onto his tongue, then proceed with gently adding a little bit of Cadmium Red to create a light pink color.

Step 18: Using the black Watercolor Brush Pen, begin gently outlining Marshall’s body, face, nose, eyes, hat, and jacket. Be sure to fill in the black spots on his fur! This will add the final touches to the painting.
